Here is a link to the local television news website streaming the video taken by Private Detective Tommy Blackwood. In this clip, Bobby is seen entering the apartment and you can hear the shots being fired. Susan appears briefly in the end as Bobby exits the apartment.

It still appears that some footage is missing. Susan has claimed that she told Bobby to drop the gun and she pushed him out of the apartment. Either this did not happen; or the video has been edited by the news station; or perhaps, the video did not capture all of the discussion at the door. It is certainly plausible that Blackwood may have switched the camera off as he retreated for safety and only turned it back on when he saw that Bobby was safe.

The word on the street:
Although this information has not been reported in the media, reliable sources tell this blogger:
-
On Friday, June 18th, the day after the shootings, Susan Kinard contacted Charleston County Sheriff's Department and expressed concern for the safety of her family. The word on the street is that she asked for protection for her family from the family of her husband, Bobby Kinard.
-
Eyewitnesses at the burial report that the only dry eyes graveside were those of the widow.
-
It has been said that Susan has retained high-profile attorney Gedney Howe. For what purpose is not clear. Talk is that she is considering an action against Private Detective Tommy Blackwood for drawing Bobby to the scene.
-
Mt. Pleasant Police were called to the vicinity of the shooting an hour or so prior to the occurrence but no report has been made public as to why.
-
Police have interviewed victim Terry Portier but no statement of his has been released. The word on the street is that he is employed by Boeing.
-
The video footage shot by Blackwood has been released by the Police but has not been made public.
-
Blackwood's file, if made public, will reveal an investigation beginning around the 1st of June and covering at least three states.

Link to 911 Calls
This morning, the Charleston Post & Courier began streaming the audio recordings of the 911 calls placed by Susan Kinard and Tommy Blackwood on the night of June 17th, 2010.
You can find them here: http://www.postandcourier.com/news/2010/jun/26/video-shows-kinard-with-pistol/
Tommy Blackwood is a private investigator hired by Bobby Kinard to perform survelience on an apartment where Bobby Kinard's wife Susan had been staying for about three weeks.
On the night of the 17th, Blackwood told Bobby that his wife was in the apartment and that her suspected paramour's vehicle was in the parking lot. Sometime around 11:40, Bobby arrived at the apartment.
While Blackwood was operating a video recorder, Bobby entered the apartment and shot Terry Portier who Bobby believed was having an affair with his wife Susan.
The video footage has been released by the Police, but has not been made public. The Post and Courier is reporting that Susan is captured in the video wearing what appears to be a "nightgown." Perhaps it is her apparel that has caused the paper not release the footage.

The Whole Kinard Mess
Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina
June 26, 2010
On Thursday, June 17th, just before midnight, prominant local attorney and former North Charleston Mayor, Bobby Kinard, fished a key out of his pocket and let himself into an apartment in Mt. Pleasant where his wife and law partner, Susan Kinard, had been staying for about three weeks. Moments later, Bobby Kinard shot 50 year old Terry Portier twice in the shoulder. While Susan called authorites, Bobby fled the scene.
When police stopped Bobby's pick-up truck a few miles from the scene of the shooting, Kinard turned the gun on himself while still seated in the driver's seat.
Portier survived two gunshot wounds. Kinard died instantly.
On Saturday, June 19th, the Post and Courier reported Susan Kinard as stating that she was not romantically involved with Terry Portier and that he was just a friend.
Charleston.net (the on-line arm of the Charleston Post & Courier) has released the 911 calls of Susan Kinard and Terry Blackwood (a private detective who was at the scene working for Bobby). In Susan's call for help, she identifies Terry Portier as her "boyfriend" and furthermore states, "that's why my husband shot him."
The word on the street is that Susan Kinard has hired prominant Attorney Gedney Main Howe to represent her. There is talk that she is planning a civil action against Blackwood for causing the death of her husband.
There's a LOT more to this story.
Stay tuned . . .
